Enjoy 4 nights 5 days trip to the heart of majestic mountains, and trekking to the source of the most important river and the living Goddess of India, The Ganges. We make exclusive walks to the base of of high peaks and to witness the out standing sun rise and sun set on Shivling and Bhagirathi group of peaks.

One joins Indian pilgrims doing their pilgrimage to the source of Ganges and encounters Babas & Sadhus on trek, some of them living round the year in difficult cold conditions doing yoga, meditation and other spiritual practices.

ITINERARY

DAY01. RISHIKESH/GANGOTRI DRIVE: 9-10 HRS. OVERNIGHT HOTEL. Morning after breakfast drive to Gangotri. may make a comfort stop at Gangnani hot springs. Those who want can have a quick refreshing bath in the pool\ shower. Arrive Gangotri and transfer to hotel. Visit Gangotri temple for Arti, evening prayer dedicated to goddess Ganges. Dinner and overnight hotel.

DAY 02. GANGOTRI\ BHOJBASA TREK: 5- 6 HRS. OVERNIGHT CAMP
Morning after breakfast visit the famous Gangotri temple. Later we trek to Bhojbasa. The entire trek today is along the roaring Bhagirathi river. Arrive Bhojbasa and camp. Afternoon free to explore the area and to enjoy excellent sunset on Bhagirathi group of peaks. Dinner and overnight in tents.

DAY 03. BHOJBASA\ GOMUKH/ BHOJBASA TREK:5-6 HRS OVERNIGHT CAMP
Morning enjoy the panoramic view of Bhagirathi group of peaks. After breakfast trek to Gomukh, the source of the Ganges. Explore the area. One can also trek towards Tapovan, one of the finest high altitude alpine meadows in the area.. Dinner and overnight camp.

DAY 04. BHOJBASA\ GANGOTRI TREK: 4-5 HRS . OVERNIGHT HOTEL. Morning after breakfast trek down to Gangotri. Meals and overnight hotel.

DAY 05. GANGOTRI \ RISHIKESH DRIVE: 8-9 HRS. We take the early morning car to Rishikesh. We stop for a refreshing hot water bath at the Gangnani hot springs, Packed lunch enroute. Arrive Rishikesh. Tour terminates upon arrival at Rishikesh.

Altitude: Gangotri :3148 Mts. , Bhojbasa :3792mts. , Gomukh 3,898 Mts.

Number of Persons on each trekking trip:
To make our trekking trips low impact & eco friendly, the treks are run with minimum 2 to maximum 6 persons in each trek.

The Fixed Departures cost includes:
1. Twin sharing accommodation as per the itinerary.
2. All meals hygienically cooked and served by our specially trained staff for westerners.
3. Services of professional trekking guide, cook & camp staff during the trip.
4. Camping equipment on trek e.g tents, Mattresses, Sleeping bags etc.
5. Portage of personal rucksack (10 kgs) on the trek, as per the option taken.
6. Trekking permits & camping fees on the trek .
7. Portage of camping equipment, food, kitchen equipment on trek.
8. All tourist taxes on the trip.
8. Visit to the entire place as per the itinerary.

The FD’s cost Does Not Include:
1. Items of personal nature e.g. table drinks, telephone, insurance, medical services, evacuation and services in unforeseen circumstances.
2. Riding ponies on the trek.
3. Services other than specified above.

The Above Costs are :
1. Subject to government service tax which is at present 2.57%
2. Nett & non commissionable.
3. Valid for trekking season of 2012 from Feb to November.
