Ganga  River Expedition

Enjoy 3 nights 4 days trip including drive to Devprayag , one of the anciant town situated at the confluence of Alaknanda and Bhagirathi rivers making the holy Ganges. And rafting down the Ganga up to Rishikesh with camping on exclusive beaches on the river as well as hitting some of the finest rapids on the river. 

Itinerary

Day 01 : Morning drive to Rishikesh.  Arrive Rishikesh & Transfer to Ganga Nature Camp Rishikesh. which is located on a large sandy beach on the banks of the Ganga river . Short rafting trip from camp down.  After dark camp fire and dinner followed by briefing about the Expedition.   

DAY 02 . RISHIKESH/DEVPRAYAG. DRIVE: 3 HRS.  DEVPRAYAG/BYASGHAT. RAFT:3-4 HRS. O/N Camp

Arrive Rishikesh . After breakfast  drive to  Devprayag. Enroute we stop at Kaudiyala for a cup of tea. Arrive Devprayag and explore the town and the anciant temple. Later we raft down to Byasghat, the anglers paradise, famous in the region for its Golden Mahasheer. Tonight we camp near the Byas Ghat on the beach. Campfire, dinner and overnight camp.

DAY 03 .BYASGHAT/SHIVPURI. RAFT: 6-7 HRS. OVERNIGHT:CAMP

Morning after breakfast  raft down  till kaudiyala. After lunch we hit the some of the most exciting rapids on Ganga e.g Daniel’s dip, the wall, cross fire and three blind mice. Arrive Shivpuri and transfer to river camp. Campfire BBQ Dinner and overnight camp.

DAY 04.SHIVPURI/RISHIKESH. RAFT:5-6 HRS.

Morning after breakfast transfer to starting point. Today we hit very exciting rapids like Roller coaster, Golf course, Club House , initiation and double trouble. Beach lunch at river camp. Later we float past temples, ashrams and bridges to encounter river bank life of the town. Arrive Muni Ki Reti. Tour terminates upon arrival at Muni Ki Reti.

Best Time: March, April, May, October, November.

The Fixed Departure trips are inclusive of:    Twin sharing accommodation in camp, al meals, rafting with world class equipment & professional river guides, safety kayaks & transportation from camp to Rudraprayag.

COST DOES NOT INCLUDE:

1. Any Items of personal nature, e.g. laundry, bottled drinks, medical services, Insurance* and services other than specified in the Itinerary and in unforeseen circumstances.

The above Cost is :

1.  Subject to Government service taxes which is 3.09 %   at present.

3.  Valid for the Trekking/ Rafting  season for 2008 from Feb to  December

* Minimum Group Size for the expedition trip is 6 persons.
