08 nights 9 days trip which involves trek to one of the high altitude Himalayan lakes, Dodital, an emerald lake, situated amidst thick forest of Oak, Deodar  and Rhododendron . This loveliest lake of Garhwal and the forest area harbors  most of the high altitude Himalayan fauna. Himalayan brown trout, Himalayan black bear, Musk dear, Leopard  are found in abundance with Monal  pheasant, eagles and rich variety of butterflies and flowers.

The trek also involves negotiating high pass witnessing the best view of snow-covered Greater Himalayan Range.  The last leg of the trek takes to you the one of the four most important Dhams

(Shrines) Yamnotri,  which is also the source of 2^nd most important life giving river of north India, Yamuna. GHE Takes you there to experience all the that…

Itinerary

DAY 01. RISHIKESH/ UTTERKASHI /GARAM PANI   DRIVE 5-6 HRS . OVERNIGHT RIVER SIDE NATURE RESORT

Morning after breakfast drive to Utterkashi. The entire drive today is through the villages and along the Bhagirathi river.  Arrive Utterkashi. After a stopover in  the town we drive futher to Garam Pani . Transfer to River side nature resort. Evening free to explore the area. Meals and overnight camp.

DAY 02. UTTERKASHI(GARAM PANI ) TO SANGAM CHATTI  DRIVE  1 HRS.

               SANGAMCHATTI TO AGODA TREK 5-6 HRS. OVERNIGHT CAMP

Morning after breakfast drive for one hour to Sangam Chatti. Arrive and commence trek /pony to Agoda village. The entire trek today is gradual ascent till we reach agoda. Today we camp little away from the Agoda Village. Meals and overnight camp.

DAY 03. AGODA TO DODITAL TREK 5-6 HRS. OVERNIGHT CAMP

Morning after breakfast trek to Dodital, one the best Himalayan lakes. The entire trek goes through thick forest today. Arrive Dodital and camp. Dinner & overnight camp.

DAY 04. DODITAL / DARWA TOP / CAMP  TREK 6- 7 HRS. OVERNIGHT CAMP

Morning after breakfast we start ascending  through the forest on Darwa Dhar. After the pass we descend towards the Yamuna Valley. Camp . Meals and overnight camp.

DAY 05.  CAMP / SEEMA . TREK 4-5 HRS. OVERNIGHT CAMP

Morning after breakfast we trek further in Yamuna valley. The entire trek is gradual descent till the camp. Arrive Seema & camp. Dinner & overnight camp.

DAY 06.  SEEMA/ HANUMANCHATTI  TREK 4-5 HRS. OVERNIGHT HOTEL .

Morning after breakfast we trek down to Hanuman Chatti . The entire trek today is flat and gradual descent. Arrive Hanumanchatti & check in to hotel . Meals and overnight hotel.

DAY 07.  HAUMANCHATTI/ YAMNOTRI / HANUMANCHATTI  TREK 8-9  HRS. OVERNIGHT HOTEL.

Morning after breakfast we join the pilgrims from all over india to their special Journey to the abode of Gods. Arrive Yamnotri, the source of the Yamuna and one of the Char Dhams. Explore the are and trace your steps back to Hanuman Chatti. Meals and overnight hotel.

DAY 08. HAUMANCHATTI/ MUSSORIE  DRIVE 7-8  HRS.  OVERNIGHT HOTEL

Morning after breakfast we drive to the queen of hill stations, Mussoorie. The entire drive today is along the Yamuna river. Arrive Mussorie and check in to hotel. Dinner & overnight Stay in hotel.

DAY 09. MUSSORIE / ONWARD DESTINATION                                                                  

Morning after breakfast tour terminates.  One can stay back or take a train for Delhi from  Dehradun ( 1hr Drive )   

Altitude:  kalyani : 1550 Mts., Agoda : 2050 Mts.,Dodital 3024 Mts.,  Darwa Dhar Ridge 4115 Mts., Janki Chatti 2575 Mts.,  Yamnotri 3235 Mts.
 

Number of Persons on each trekking trip: To make our trekking trips low impact & eco friendly, the treks are run with minimum 2 to maximum  6 persons in each trek.

The Fixed Departure trips are inclusive of:

1. Twin sharing accommodation at Road heads in Guest Houses / Tourist Bungalows/hotels during the entire trip. (As we give round the year business to the hotels we get very god discounted rates which are finally passed  on to the clients , as we calculate the cost of the treks on discounted rates.)

2. All meals hygienically cooked and served by our specially trained staff for westerners. (We emphasize a lot  on food and all our cooks are specially trained to provide hygienic food to westerners).

3. Transportation from Rishikesh to Rishikesh. (We have our own brand new Toyota Jeeps & mini buses, with handpicked drivers who have been trained to drive westerners on mountain roads).

4. Services of English speaking professional trekking guide, cook, and camp staff during the entire trip. (All our trekking Guides & camp staff are from this area only and know the area very well. All trekking Guides and most of the camp staff have dome First Aid and CPR courses and do refreshing courses every year)

5. All tourist taxes during the travel.

6. Visit to all important temples and places during the entire trip.

7. Camping equipment on the trek e.g. tents, mattresses, sleeping bags etc. (We have brand new spacious tents and other trekking equipment however we recommend clients to bring personal sleeping bags). 

8. Portage of food, camping & kitchen equipment on the trek.

9. Portage of personal baggage on trek. (Only in Deluxe options)

10. Trekking permits and camping fees on the treks.

Cost does not Include:

1. Items of personal nature e.g. table drinks, telephones, laundry, insurance, medical services and services in unforeseen circumstances.
2. Riding ponies on trek. ( Can be arranged on actual by the guide on the trip)
3. Any other trip other than specified above.

The above Cost is :

1. Subject to Government service taxes which are 3.09%   at present.

2. Non commissionable. 

3. Valid for the Trekking season for 2008 from February to December.
