Itinerary
DAY
01. RISHIKESH/OKHIMATH DRIVE 6-7 HRS. WALK 1 – 2 HRS .OVERNIGHT CAMP
Morning after breakfast drive to Okhimath, the winter seat of lord
Kedarnath. The entire drive today is along the Ganga, Alaknanda and
Mandakini river. We stop at Devprayag, the historical town situated on
the banks of for the famous confluence of Bhagirathi and Alaknanda
river .We stop at Rudraprayag for lunch. After lunch we drive
through the Mandakini Valley along the river . Arrive Okhimath, the
winter seat of lord Kedarnath. Transfer to guest house. Evening walk
to the temple of Okhimath through the small hill town. Dinner and
overnight camp/guest house.
DAY
02. OKHIATH /DEVRIATAL /SARI /DOGALBITTA TREK 6-7 HRS. OVERNIGHT CAMP
Morning after breakfast we trek to Devriatal. Initiallly the trek goes
through the village trail, giving you a chance to have a close
encounter with the settlement pattern , dress jwellery and life style
of the mountain people. Later the trek goes through the thick forest.
One the last strech we come close to the tree line to reach the lake.
Enjoy the outstanding view of Greater Himalayan peaks in the lake.
Explore the area and trek to Sari, the typical Garhwali mountain
village. We join the village wemen carrying heavy loads of dry leaves
for their fields.
DAY
03. SARI/DOGALBITTA/CHOPTA/TUNGNATH/CHOPTA TREK 6-7 HRS.
Morning after breakfast trek to Copta. After a cup of tea we
commence trek to Tungnath. The entire trek is a gradual ascent
through the dwarf Rhododendron bushes. One encounters Mt. Chukhmba (A
mountain with four Pillars) from different angles. Lunch. Those who
are fit enough can climb up to ChandraShilla . Arrive Chandrashilla .
Enjoy the 360 degrees of panormmic view of Greater Himalayan Peaks as
well as the valley behind. Experience the godly vibrationas and trek
back to Chopta camp. Dinner and overnight camp.
DAY
04. CHOPTA / MUSK DEER FARM TREK 1 HRS MD FARM MANDAL / RISHIKESH
Morning after breakfast walk to Kedarnath Musk Deer sanctuary. Arrive
and commence drive to Rishikesh. We drive through the thick forests of
sanctuary till we reach mandal. Later we drive along the roaring
Alaknanda river . Lunch enroute. Tour terminates upon arrival at
Rishikesh.
Extensions not to be Missed: -
Instead of driving all the way to Rishikesh you can stay at our Ganga
Nature Camp and raft down the river Ganga upto Rishikesh next day.
DAY
04. GANGA NATURE CAMP.
Arrive Ganga
Nature Camp. Welcome drink. Relax in the river side camps. Dinner /BBQ
and camp fire. Overnight tents.

DAY
05. GANGA NATURE CAMP/ RISHIKESH. RAFT 4-5 HRS.
Morning after
breakfast drive to Shivpuri . Arrive and commence rafting till
Rishikesh. Lunch enroute in Ganga Nature camp. We hit some of the most
enjoyable rapids today. One can try body surfing and cliff jump after
lunch. In the later part we float past temples, ashrams, & Ghats ,
certainly the best way to see Rishikesh.
Number of Persons on each trekking trip:
To make our trekking trips low impact & eco friendly, the treks are
run with minimum 2 to maximum 6 persons in each trek.
The Fixed Departure trips are inclusive of:
1.
Twin sharing accommodation at Road heads in Guest Houses / Tourist
Buglows/hotels during the entire trip.
(As we give round the year business to the hotels we get very god
discounted rates which are finally passed on to the clients , as we
calculate the cost of the treks on discounted rates.)
2.
All meals hygienically cooked and served by our specially trained
staff for westerners.
(We emphasize a lot on food and all our cooks are specially trained
to provide hygienic food to westerners).
3.
Transportation from Rishikesh to Rishikesh.
(We have our own brand new Cars / Tata Sumos, Toyota Jeeps & mini
buses, with hand picked drivers who have been trained to drive
westerners on mountain roads).
4.
Services of English speaking professional
trekking guide, cook, camp staff during the entire trip.
(All our trekking Guides & camp staff are
from this area only and know the area very well. All trekking Guides
and most of the camp staff have dome First Aid and CPR courses and do
refreshing courses every year )
5. All tourist taxes during the travel.
6. Visit to all important temples and places during the entire trip.
7.Camping equipment on the trek e.g. tents, mattresses, sleeping bags
etc.
(We have brand new spacious tents and other trekking equipment however
we recommend clients to bring personal sleeping bags).
8. Portage of food, camping & kitchen equipment on the trek.
9. Portage of personal baggage on trek. ( only in Deluxe options)
10. Trekking permits and camping fees on the treks.
Cost does not Include:
1.
Items of personal nature e.g. table drinks, telephones, laundry,
insurance, medical services and services in unforeseen circumstances.
2.
Riding ponies on trek. ( Can be arranged on actual by the guide on the
trip)
3.
Any other trip other than specified above.
