10 Night 11  days trip trekking to one of the least visited areas of Garhwal Himalayas.  The trek goes through  mountain villages, meadows surrounded by thick forests , glaciers and high altitude Himalayan lakes with reflection of outstanding mountain views. Negotiating high passes and  Close views of high Himalayan peaks are the highlights of the trip. The trek ends at Kedarnath , the most important Shiva temple in India. After staying one night at Kedarnath we drive back to Rishikesh.

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE TRIP:

ü       Beautiful drive along the holy rivers of  Bhagirahti and Bhilangna. Bhagirathi coming from Gomukh (The source of the Ganges) and Bhilangna coming out from Khatling glacier. According to the legends Bhilangna was actually a maiden who tried to capture Shivas attention while he meditated  and upon being rebuked was dissolved into water.

ü       Close encounter with the culture of mountain people and their settle ment pattern Villages like Gangi and Kharsoli are among the very less visited villages, where acessibility is limited to those who live there or those who are trekking or to the rare breed of pilgrims  trying  to do the pilgrimage on foot form Gangotri to Kedarnath. To those who have visited the area, the villages are like living museums.

      Gangi and kahrsoli residents have very few residents and very little of the modern world.

One enounters Gujjars – the nomadic tribes grazing with their cattles in the high alpine meadows.

ü       Out standing mountain views of high peaks the most prominent peaks are Gangotri and Jonali.

ü       Negotiating high passes and treking along the high altitude Himalayan Lakes. The high light of the trip is Masar tal , a lake 4 kms in circumference .

ü       And above all quality equipment , Knowldgable Treking guide and camp satff, delicious hygenic food.

Number of Persons on each trekking trip:

To make our trekking trips low impact & eco friendly, the treks are run with minimum 2 to maximum  6 persons in each trek.

The Fixed Departue trips are inclusive of:

1. TWIN SHARING ACCOMMODATION AT ROAD HEADS IN GUEST HOUSES/ TOURIST BUNGLOWS  AND TENTS DURING THE ENTIRE TRIP.  ( As we give round the year business to the hotels we get very god discounted rates which are finally passed  on to the clients , as we calculate the cost of the treks on discounted rates.)

2.ALL MEALS HYGENICALLY COOKED AND SERVED BY OUR SPECIALLY TRAINED STAFF FOR WESTERNERS.( We emphasize a lot  on food and all our cooks are specially trained to provide hygienic food to westerners)

3.TRANSPORTATION FROM RISHIKESH TO  RISHIKESH BY CAR/SUMO/ Toyota Qualis  ( we have our own brand new Cars / Tata Sumos  &  Toyota quails  with hand picked drivers who have been trained to drive westerners on mountain roads)

4.SERVICES OF ENGLISH SPEAKING TREKKING GUIDE , COOK & CAMP STAFF  DURING THE ENTRIE TRIP. ( All our trekking Guides & camp staff are from this area only and know the area very well. All trekking Guides and most of the camp staff have dome First Aid and CPR courses and do refreshing courses every year )

( We have brand new spacious tents and other trekking equipment however we recommend clients to bring personal sleeping bags)
